Pattern Information:

- Gauge: 2 3-dc shell stitches = 1.5”/ 5 rows = 2”
Materials:
- medium weight 4 yarn
- G hook
Abbreviations:
sc: single crochet | dc: double crochet |
sl st: slip stitch | sk: skip |
ch: chain | FO; finish off |
sp: space | hdc: half double crochet |
Stitches Used:
single crochet (sc), shell stitch (3 dc worked into a single stitch), picot
Notes:
- Resizing the width: The foundation chain is a multiple of three, so any increase/decrease can be made in a multiple of 3. A finished round will be a multiple of three stitches.
- Resizing the length: This can be adjusted in a number of places. For a longer arm section, repeat Round 2 as desired in the Rounds 1-9 section. For a longer wrist or hand section, repeat Round 11 as desired, before and/or after the thumbhole.
- I like a clean bottom edge, crocheting my first round into the back bump of the chain. I suggest, before joining, remove your hook from the loop, and reinsert it from the opposite directing. This makes a cleaner join and transition to the first round of sc.
- At the beginning of each round, the shell stitch is worked into the middle stitch of the 3-dc shell stitch, not the stitch in which you join and chain.
