Finishing:

Use feet as guide for centering eyes, wings, and embroidery of the beak.

Eyes:  Eyes are stitched within the white, along the base of the lashes.  Center them on the body front with the top edge of the whites aligned with the top edge of the sides, the top of the first row of the body’s side stitch pattern,

Wings:  Attach with the pointed end to the back and canted downward.  I placed the rounded end about two stitches away from the outer edge of my eyes.  The pointed edge was aligned with the top of the third to last row, making my bottom edge aligned with the top of the second to last row.

Beak:  Center between eyes and whipstitch evenly to the right, to the left and in the center, using a common lower point so that you have a triangular beak shape as in image.
